3rd Monthly Meeting of CRC 392: Protocells, Coacervates, and End-of-Year Gathering

19.12.2024

On December 19, 2024, CRC 392 held its third monthly meeting at LMU Munich, featuring exciting insights into protocell research and a festive year-end gathering. The event began with an introductory talk by Prof. Henrike Niederholtmeyer, setting the stage for the afternoon keynote by Dr. Evan Spruijt (Radboud University). His talk, "Building Better Protocells: Coacervates, Reactions, and Membranes" explored the role of coacervates in protocell formation and their relevance to the origin of life. After an engaging discussion, participants rounded off the day with a collaborative cooking session and a shared dinner—offering a great opportunity to reflect on the year and connect with colleagues.
